Wendy is a Denver native and REALTOR of 35+ years a terrific combination if you need real estate assistance in Colorado. She's enjoyed her many years in real estate and claims that there aren't too many homes in the Denver Metro Area that she hasn't been in at one time or another! Wendy is a part of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and a member of the Denver Board of Realtors Million Dollar Round Table. She serves on the Ethics Committee of the Denver Board of Realtors for the past 12 years. Wendy's vast experience plus her commitment to her clients makes working with her a joy.
When I started in the real estate business, I was twenty-one years old, just out of college. I knew little about real estate and less about life. "I thought I'd be working for myself . . . for the money. But from early on, I learned that I was working for my clients. They looked to me for advice, information, and help in fulfilling their dreams and meeting their personal and family expectations."
For some time now, I've known a lot about real estate and over the years have learned a great deal about life. I've raised my family with two sons now in their thirties, survived a life-threatening health problem, helped more than a thousand clients buy and sell homes, and more recently I've learned to take the time to enjoy everything around me.
Real estate is not just about me finding places for people to live or selling their homes for them. It's about helping people move forward with their lives, helping them with their dreams. The people part of my business has never changed. The rewards in my business are wonderful.
Professional Designations
CRS (Certified Residential Specialist): Wendy is among the fewer than 5% of the nation's Realtors who've completed the advanced education and performance requirements necessary to receive the CRS designation from the Association of Realtors.
ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative): Wendy is knowledgeable in the needs of buyers and nuances in the representation of buyers' interests.
SRES (Seniors' Real Estate Specialist): Fewer than 19,000 Realtors have spent the extra effort to complete the SRES designation customized towards the needs of seniors during the transaction process.
Community Involvement
- Habitat For Humanity - $100.00 from every real estate closing Wendy has is donated to Habitat
- The Birds of Prey Foundation - BOP is a raptor rescue and release operation which releases approximately 450 birds back into the wild after helping them heal.
- Hawkquest, a non profit raptor education facility
- Gabriel Foundation, an education, rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and sanctuary for companion parrots
